A downloadable game for Windows

The game developer's struggle is a 2 player platformer game where one person plays with the mouse and other plays with the keyboard. Reminiscent of a old flash game controls.

Play as game designer whose stuck in his own 'untitled adventure game' and a QA tester who is helping him escape. Utilise the custom game engine in order to place and move assets, and ensure to fend off deadly viruses that can hurt the player! This can be played locally with a friend, or solo for some extra challenge.

The game is a 3D side scroller, with the unique use of content browser 'assets' to overcome platforming challenges, obstacles, and difficult-to-manoeuvre pathways.

The game is split in three section A fully set dressed dark fantasy dungeon environment, a grey blockout area of a rotating maze and a wire frame area . These areas represent the visual progression of a game dev making a game.

Narratively we took the theme of Feedback Loop in its most literal sense where you are playing a playtesting session, and the feedback loop comes from the game developer and QA tester working together.

However gameplay wise we took this idea of feedback loop and applied it to a co op design philosophy were one player is control the mechanisms of the level design like adding platform or destructible devices and the other player has to navigate the world and challenges through platforming and spatial awareness

The game looks amazing and the gameplay is definitely unique and fun to play, there is a bug unless intentional where I can just spawn one platform and and click and drag it when jumping with the player and if i click off it before i land it allows me to stay on it, meaning I can infinitely use one platform for all the obstacles.

Hi! Thank you for your comment, the bug was something we are aware of and is something if we had more time we'd fix but for now it'll be classed as a secret feature...
